Club Z is so much more than an at-home fitness class. We’re a supportive community focused on your overall health and well-being. Each membership plan includes a range of physio-led class options for all skill levels, flexible scheduling, real-time modifications/adjustments plus access to our newsletter filled with tips and resources specific to adults 55+.

Why join Club Z?
Come join the Club! We would love to have you! Join a wonderful community of adults aged 55+ that are motivated and determined to create the best lives possible for themselves. Our goal is to make aging easier and more fun!
Why choose Club Z and not a different fitness program?
The Club Z Fitness Program and all of its classes have been developed by physiotherapists specifically for adults aged 55+. The classes are specifically designed to improve strength, balance and mobility while considering possible underlying health conditions like osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Members can participate confidently knowing they are doing appropriate exercises with the supervision of a physiotherapist.

How do I know what class is best for me?

I don’t feel confident in technology. Is there someone who can help me to set this up on my computer?
We have helped many of our members get set up on their devices at home. As long as you have a laptop or tablet with a camera and reliable internet connection, our team can help you get set up. Call our main administration team at (902) 453-1525 (option 1).
What is the difference between live and on-demand classes?
During live classes, the instructors and members can see and hear each other (using the zoom platform integration in our system); there is an opportunity to get real-time feedback and modifications from the physiotherapist leading the class. These classes also allow you to interact and make friends with other Club Z members!
The biggest benefit of the on-demand classes is that you can do them whenever and wherever suits you best! You also have the ability to pause, rewind or play back any part of the class and get the same high-quality guidance for correct exercise execution.
What equipment do I need for my class?
Depending on which class you decide to join, you may want to purchase a resistance band, loop bands, free weights, and a yoga mat. When attending classes, it is best to wear sneakers and comfortable workout clothes.
Here is a breakdown of the equipment needs for the different types of classes we offer:
- Fit 1/Core 1: Chair, Theraband (light to medium tension), free weights
- Fit 2/Fit 3/Core 2: Free weights, yoga mat, Theraband (multiple tensions), loop bands (multiple tensions)
- Step & Stretch: Chair
Where can I register for my classes?
Once you sign up for Club Z, you will have access to the TeamUp registration where you can see the schedule and sign up for classes. You will also receive an email with a 5-minute video tour of the website that will help you register for classes and access the online library of classes (if applicable to your membership).
If my class is too easy or too hard, can I switch to a different one?
Of course! If you ever have questions about whether your class is too easy or too hard, we have the option to chat with a Club Z Instructor through Zoom or on the phone. Reach out to us at any time to discuss possible class changes.
Is there any way to get one-on-one help with an exercise I am struggling with?
Yes! We offer free weekly Movement Workshops. It’s a chance to speak with a Club Z instructor to answer any questions you may have! These workshops do not count towards your class usage for your membership; registration is done through the schedule as for all other classes.
Do I have to commit to a certain amount of time?
Payments are processed monthly at the start of the month. If you join in the middle of the month, the payment will be prorated for the amount of the month remaining. You are only ever committed to the month you’ve paid for! Please note that your payment will be automatically processed at the beginning of each month if you do not cancel your membership with us. Unfortunately, we are not able to refund your payment if you forget to cancel your membership prior to its monthly renewal.
